How To Find Us
DO NOT take Spring Creek Road out of Big Flat even though some GPS systems may try to route you this way. You must come to the camp on Rand Road (Forest Service Rd # 1118).
Watch your mileage and follow directions carefully. There are limited places to turn around on Highway 341, especially pulling a trailer.
Our 911 address is 870 Rand Road, Harriet AR 72639. It works correctly with some mapping systems, and not with others. Before following GPS directions to this address, make sure that it ends up at CMHC and does not route you on Spring Creek Road.

Directions from Marshall, Arkansas (30 Miles, 1 Hour)
- Turn off Hwy. 65 onto Hwy. 27 East.
- Continue on Hwy. 27 to Harriet.
- Merge right onto Hwy. 14 East.
- Remain on Hwy. 14 East, pass through Big Flat, Ark.
- Do NOT take Spring Creek Road in Big Flat.
- 3 miles past Big Flat, turn left on Hwy. 341 North
- Drive 2.3 miles and turn left on Rand Road (Forest Road 1118)
- Drive 6.3 miles to the “T” intersection of Rand and Spring Creek Roads.
- Turn right onto Spring Creek Road.
- Drive 1 mile.
- Camp entrance is on the left at the “Welcome to Caney Mountain” sign.
Directions from Mountain View, Arkansas (30 Miles, 1 Hour)
- Take Hwy. 5/9/14 North from Mountain View towards Calico Rock
- Turn left at the bottom of hill at Sylamore onto Hwy. 14 West
- Continue on Hwy. 14 past town of Fifty Six
- Turn right on Hwy. 341 North
- Drive 2.3 miles and turn left on Rand Road (Forest Road 1118)
- Drive 6.3 miles to the “T” intersection of Rand and Spring Creek Roads.
- Turn right onto Spring Creek Road.
- Drive 1 mile.
- Camp entrance is on the left at the “Welcome to Caney Mountain” sign.
Directions from Mountain Home, Arkansas (44 Miles, 1 Hour 15 Minutes)
- Take bypass 62/412
- Head South on 201, Drive 10 miles
- Turn right on Hwy. 341, Drive 22.7 miles
- Turn right on Rand Road (Forest Road 1118)
- Drive 6.3 miles to the “T” intersection of Rand and Spring Creek Roads.
- Turn right onto Spring Creek Road.
- Drive 1 mile.
- Camp entrance is on the left at the “Welcome to Caney Mountain” sign.
